He thinks he's too big for me. I like a challenge.
On my 25th birthday, I received a letter. My mother had left me a piece of land in her will - the farm I grew up on as a child. Her last request was that I restore it...and how could I say no?
So I returned to my little town full of big memories. Nothing has changed here.
Except for Grant Werther.
When we were kids, I barely saw him. Now I can't miss him. The guy is huge; all muscle and beard, like some hardened mountain man. He's intimidating...and definitely sexy, in an alpha-male-cowboy kind of way.
Turns out his dad owns part of my farm and he's got the papers to prove it. That means I can't do anything without Grant's approval. On top of that, this jerk says I'm too "city girl" to be here.
And the way he openly stares at my ass in my cut-off jeans makes it clear what he thinks I'd be good at.
He's the biggest man I've ever seen and I admit, I'm curious what he's hiding in his boxers.
I didn't know he'd catch me peeking.
Now he won't stop teasing me. He keeps saying I could never handle him, that he'd break me in two. I know I don't have to prove him wrong....

She could have at least tried a Male voice, some inflections and a nasal spray.

Is this a story or is this soft core?
Now don't get me wrong I can appreciate books with a little naughtiness but this book is only naughty with no story. Like was the only purpose of this story was to talk about the H/h boinking, if so then why call it a book? The narration was okay nothing to write home to mama about but if you are looking for a very raunchy novel to get you a little excited... hehehe then this is your book. Be warned might not want to play it in the car while driving when kids or your parents are with you. Nor do you want to play it too loud cause your fellow drivers will judge you. Like that matters. Lol Hopefully this is not too much of a spoiler if so sorry. Enjoy.

Horrible narration!
Story is good, sappy hallmark type story with lots of descriptive sex. Narrators almost ruin it!

Basic 'country vs city' romance with good sex
It's a pretty familiar trope: city girl stuck in the country and (very, very quickly) on a country boy. Will she give up her fast-paced life and everything about it after one whole week of fresh-air sex? Lol, yeah, we've read this before, but there is nothing wrong with that! We clearly love these kinds of stories or there wouldn't be so many of them, and this was a fine addition to the type. I did not read the book, I listened to it as an audiobook and might have rated it higher if that were not the case. The readers were soooo badly cast: the female reader seemed to slur a lot, sounded 16 years old and didn't seem familiar with the book before recording it because over and over again the emphasis was wrong. The male reader sounded like he was narrating a 70's nature documentary and also sounded unfamiliar with the book--- as well as sounding exactly nothing like a man proudly born and raised in the country. I'm sure the readers would have been great for something else and probably are excellent with the right material, this was just a bad fit.

Story was fine
Enjoyed this. I liked the male narrator but I found myself drifting off while the female narrator read. Would have been better as a longer story, slightly longer.

Sexy!
I enjoyed this listen. Grant was hot and the story between him and "city girl" makes living in the country seem like the solution to every problem. Grant is fun, spontaneous, commanding and sexy. Sasha doesn't have much will power, lol, but that's because Grant is irresistible. He makes "getting caught so enjoyable"!

Fabulous!
This is an amazing story with great characters and writing. The story made me feel all kinds of emotions, from laughing to sad and then on to horny. The sex scenes are so good and hot! Jus awesome!!! This story is a keeper. You will love it!

Jack Wesley was okay. Jillian made it hard to listen. Her voice had one level of interest ans it wasn't in this book.
