Too simplistic
After reading the great reviews, I expected a good experience listening to this. sadly the book felt like it was written by a teenager, with clichéd characters and unrealistic events. the narration was also a distraction from the story, with the male narrator speaking slowly as if explaining to a child and the female narrator slipping into an accent (south London?) which dropped most of the t's and th's ( the use of, I think "men'al ellh actually damaged my mental health ).This may have been deliberate, but it stood out to an such an extent that it spoiled the enjoyment of listening for me.
