Summary

Love and danger collide in Rock Harbor in this riveting romantic suspense.

As a 911 dispatcher, Dana Newell takes pride in being calm in tough circumstances.

In addition to her emotionally-charged career, she’s faced enough emergencies in her own life. She recently escaped her abusive fiancé to move to tranquil Rock Harbor where she hopes life will be more peaceful.

But the idyllic town hides more danger and secrets than it first appeared. Dana is continually drawn to her new friend Boone, who has scars inside and out. Then she answers a call at her job only to hear a friend’s desperate screams on the other end. Soon the pain in her past collides with the mysteries of her new home — and threatens to keep her from the future she’s always wanted.

This full-length romantic suspense can be listened to as a standalone but is also part of the Rock Harbor series.

Wonderful Christian book

This is the best book I have listened to by Ms Coble...I have listened to many of them. The bad man is a complete surprise at the end. This is a wonderful Christian book...and a clean read...and talk about a mystery! Wow!!!! I highly recommend this book to one and all!!!!!

The Fears Ring True

I really liked this book. I do think it was not put in the correct genre and had to take a hard left turn pretty early on. It should be listed as “Christian Suspense”. It was listed under “Thriller Romance”. Phrases sprinkled throughout like “I’ll pray for you” or the recitation of a scripture does not bother me. But having downloaded the entire series I did have to majorly shift gears. Spirituality is a very important aspect of many people’s lives and I respect that. The relationship that begins to blossom is fraught with human frailties, insecurities and is both wholesome and realistic. There are suspenseful storylines as well as grieving in each book of the series. I would recommend this book. The Narration is good.

Fell Flat For Me

I am not sure what I thought this was going to be about, but when I started this I was surprised and was excited to get into this. It started off with a bang! As the story went on, I was just not excited and was finding myself bored. This had so much potential but just fell flat for me.

Rock Harbor Series

Loved meeting the characters in this series and how small town life can be beneficial in many ways. I hope to read more about Bree and Caid in the future as well as Any and Naomi. This is a close family and friends working together to be successful.

Poor narration

The person reading this is a terrible actress- believe it or not, there has to be some acting skill when narrating a book. This narrator is not believable at all.
