Inspiring
An excellent book filled with hope. Max urges us persuasively and convincingly to begin again in Christ's strength, no matter our situation. Offering helpful key passages from scripture and many interesting, thought-provoking illustrations, he encourages us to put our hand in the hand of God, and begin again.
The book is insightful, helpful, profound, and well-written. Max is a pastor, and he guides us carefully, compassionately, and compitently into the security, protection, and inspiration that is ours in Christ. Ben Holland provides seemingly effortless well-paced narration that carries us easily through the chapters. I found the book to be a good companion on life's journey and well worth the read.

Fact vs Faith. 2 Timothy 3:7 take the lift to the next level. Be the best you and begin again! Show up!
They sound like platitudes, don’t they? But actually, they’re words of encouragement, when heard in context with the word of God. This is what Max Lucado excels at! Reminding us of the skills that Jesus is encouraging us to us on His behalf and to His Glory!
Well worth reminding yourself with this book.

Awesome book
I read you are not alone a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I am in awe of how God has spoken to me through both of these books. I listen to your 8 minute sermons a lot and I’ve been a fan of your book you are special for years, but you have out done yourself in these 2 books. Thank you for allowing yourself to be used by God to bless me.

horrible
very pedestrian. not motivating. stories not cohesive with scripture. I was remarkably underwhelmed after a friend suggested this book. I felt this was written by an octarian reminiscing of year's gone by with banal examples that he tried to tie scripture to the stories. maybe good for a teenager but not to educated adults.
