Summary

There's a tale as old as time of two people falling in love, but what happens when Belle won't have anything to do with it? Join her in this real life fairytale set in the small town of Silver Creek to find out how she'll transform the town's beast into a handsome prince with her heart, not her beautician skills.

An OK story.

Any additional comments?

This is a modern retelling of beauty and the beast.
If you like short and sweet books then this is for you.

I read the first book and really liked it so I thought I'll give this a go. However I preferred the first book (a modern retelling of Cinderella) more then this one.

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Short, sweet modern take to a classic fairy tale

If you like fairy tales and you want something quick and easy to listen to, this book fits the bill. The story is a modern interpretation of the classic Beauty and the Beast, down to the names of some of the characters. The story is actually quite similar to the original but also features a little suspense, rotary and mobile phones and the sweetest HEA. It featured characters from an earlier book the series as the fairy tale characters form a growing community.

Overall, it was sweet and enjoyable.
