Summary
Things are about to get serious for Harry Dresden, Chicago's only professional wizard, in the next entry in the number one New York Times and number one Sunday Times best-selling Dresden Files.
Harry has faced terrible odds before. He has a long history of fighting enemies above his weight class. The Red Court of vampires. The fallen angels of the Order of the Blackened Denarius. The Outsiders.
But this time it's different. A being more powerful and dangerous on an order of magnitude beyond what the world has seen in a millennium is coming. And she's bringing an army. The Last Titan has declared war on the city of Chicago and has come to subjugate humanity, obliterating any who stand in her way.
Harry's mission is simple but impossible: save the city by killing a Titan. And the attempt will change Harry's life, Chicago and the mortal world forever.

Love Dresden
Going through a bad time at the moment and this book manages to make it look trivial and giives you hope at the same time. Listened to it twice and more to uncover in the third time I am sure.

Bring on book 18!
The Dresden Files is the best series I have ever read or listened to.
I am very glad that I waited to listen to Peace Talks until I also had Battle Grounds in my library. As with all Dresden books I read/listen from the first book through to the latest each release. These two latest books really form one (in a similar way to Got) so having them both to read/listen to end to end made all the difference to me.
I was worried that the titles sounded like the end of the story for Dresden BUT it is not. The whole twisting about of who is bad and who is good makes me crave the next book more than ever before. I have already listened through both books end to end 3 times. The death of significant characters has my mind imagining what JB has in store for us (and the characters) as I cannot believe that they are actually gone from the story arc..... ( as we know death is not always final in the Dresden-verse! ).
I also want to applaud James Marsters for his narration, the emotion He imbues into the characters is excellent. As is the range of distinct voices He gives to the characters.
BRING ON BOOK 18!!!

This was intense
I have loved the Dresden Files audiobooks for years and have relistened multiple times. This book with its short story at the end is one of my absolute favourites. What an absolute scorcher!
