Summary

To understand the Trump White House, you need to understand Steve Bannon: what's driving him, what his true role is, and what he's trying to accomplish on behalf of the American middle class.

White House reporter Keith Koffler penetrates the fog surrounding the mysterious senior White House advisor, tracing Bannon's wild and distinctly American path to the White House in this first-ever honest biography of the controversial figure. Born to working-class Democrats in Virginia, Bannon has barrelled through the Navy, Harvard, Wall Street, and Hollywood; he is fluent in esoteric philosophies and political theories; and he has diagnosed the problem with today's America - the rot that has eaten away at working Americans' hopes, opportunities, and freedoms - and developed a winning strategy for taking America back.

With inside information on Bannon's current White House projects and his relationships with other figures in the Trump orbit - and with President Trump himself - Bannon: Trump's Rebel in the White House is not only a three-dimensional guide to one of the most fascinating figures of modern American history; it's also a guide to understanding the Trump administration's plans for our future.

Propaganda from the master of propaganda

Self serving, life story of a guy I admire Steve Bannon. It is as though he wanted to get his version of events out before anyone else and he has spun it his way (of course). No secrets in the book, zero insights worth reading about and no cutting edge principles or research material which is surprising from a guy involved with Cambridge Analytica, a book on the working of that mysterious organisation would have been a better read.

The "real" Steve Bannon! Great read!

Had an opportunity to catch some passionate messages and speeches that Bannon was giving on TV and was curious. I want to say that this book brings it all together. This book was a great read to understand Bannon real passionate/caring for this country. You understand his life and reason for his fight. He is telling it like it is. He is calling out the deep state and both political parties that are out to destroy our America. We the people are being destroyed within and our foreign partners are helping to destroy us. People listen to these messages! We want a strong economic America and for all levels of people!

An inside look

A very interesting perspective regarding Bannon and his socio-political beliefs along with information regarding his relations to the Republican party and Donald Trump. I truly enjoyed it regardless if I agree or not.

great insights

What did you love best about Bannon?

This book gives great insight as to who Bannon is, what his beliefs are and how they came to be. It shows the human side of Bannon the the media and non-supporters will never say or admit. I have more respect for Bannon now knowing what he has been through and that he has worked very hard to get to where he is at.

What did you like best about this story?

seeing the humanistic side of Bannon.

insight

This book provides insight into the personality and philosophy of Steve Bannon like no other. Going forward, the first world's exponentially exploding debt will cause increasingly collapsing economies in which populism on the left and right become dominant political forces. Bannon fights to motivate with anger the traditional social organizations of family, religion, individual integrity, merit based free markets and smaller government against those who believe in a bigger more powerful state with less individual incentive and freedom. Using only the observations of how humans have organized themselves in the past, Bannon is clearly on the right side of history.
But, with rapidly advancing sophistication of technologies - Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and other new technologies - a lot of deep changes become inevitable and Bannon's advantages as time advances may become less clear.

Bannon is Brilliant

A great insight into the man standing beside the President as a great guiding light. A guy concerned for the working man. My kind of guy.
