Mention of a workbook, but there is no workbook
Firstly, the workbook isn't included and thus far I have heard no reference of where to download it. I checked her website, but didn't find it there either, not even in the "book resources" section.
Secondly, her tone of voice and that awful background music, well there's a very good chance I'm going to send this back as neither resonated with me.
Thirdly, this contains some NLP style visualisation exercises -- and to me, the idea of visualising myself in someone else's shoes seems a bit strange, considering that I actually quite like myself and don't want to be anyone else and have no idea (or concern) about how other people may be thinking.
I was listening to this in the car (my usual place), so 'closing my eyes' was not an option -- unfortunately many audiobooks in this genre assume you're ready to get out a pen, do some meditation or otherwise involve yourself in some work that isn't always practical.
As such this would be better suited to a real book -- but whether you get anything from it or not will largely depend on your starting point and how much her style resonates with you.
