Good book, weird translation
The stories have all the attributes that make me want to read them. Just the translation seems too literally, creating weird sentences. Probably done by a native French speaking person and not English, but that kind of gives it something authentic as well. Can’t help wondering about the inspiration of the writer. He mentions Holmes a lot, so I like to imagine Professor Moriarty in his Younger days. Good stories, first were a bit predictable, the one I’m listening now is the first proper mystery that would make even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle proud of his admirer.

a great introduction to a character
interesting mix of English, American & French translations into a compelling listen.
wish there were more stories and content relating to the characters
Herlock Shomes is just a device for the copyright of a famous character.
all done with good humour and taste.

Awful reader!
I have not got beyond the introduction, which is school essay level in content (B-), because the reader always pronounces Lupin as if it was the flower. At least pronounce the main character's name right!
