Summary
Argyle House, the most hated home on Cottle Street. A place where the town’s unwanted and despised are housed. Given the local hostility, it’s no surprise to anyone when a body is discovered in one of its flats.

How sad. A great story but with a sad conclusion.
The story and narration were excellent but once again the production let the final product down. A proof reader (listener) is sadly needed at Audible.

Obsessed with age!
Really enjoyed having the gang back to listen too even though it really is a sad one….. I wish the author would dial back the obsession with Bill and Charlotte’s ages and perceived ’old age’, it’s becoming a serious cause of irritation!!!

Maudlin tale
Not as good as the other books. I like a good back story to the characters but in this book it was more about the detectives than the theme of the story.
