A blessed work.

We are commanded in God’s word to be anxious for nothing. This beautiful book, which Ben Holland reads as beautifully as Max Lucado has written it, points us in the direction of achieving this state ,!where, instead of being anxious over the storm we find ourselves in, we can focus on our blessings , find ourselves with a thankful heart and achieve the double portion.

Brilliant!

I cant stop listening. Max Lucado challenges and encourages me. I was driving back from work two days ago, listening to this book and I felt I would love to go up to him look him in the eyes and just say thank you. Max quotes Bible verses and tells real stories that show their application.

Excellent

Max Lucaxo offers simple, gentle, caring advice, imbued with the light of Scriptute. His approach is pastoral, loving, and compassionate. His tone is easy and light-hearted, yet he addresses the heart of the matter.

This is a Bblically-based work with good referencing, whilst brimming with enjoyable illustrations. The book is well researched, yet never dry. These are the words of a friend, leading another in the reliable ways he has come to know.

Ben Holland provides excellent narration with a good, steady, conversational pace. Insightful, relevant, and full of light, this is a good companion for every believer.

Anxious For Nothing

The best thing I take away from this book is to "Think About What You Think About", "As A Man Thinks so is he". The problem is not the problem, but how you see/look at it.

It was a much needed point, in the right direction.

It was a good book, simple, not too long. I like that it takes than 4 hours to get through it. I feel that I’m much more likely to make time to listen to it again. Books like this, should always be read or listened to a few times, as you’re much more likely to retain all of the information. Between the stories, scripture and metaphors I would recommend it to people struggling with anxiety and those feeling a little lost when it comes to faith in Christ and positive outcomes.

great book

There were so many inspirational and biblical points from this book, that I just want to post pages of the book around the house. I have been dealing with anxiety for several years and am slowly making progress with it and this book was just what I needed to keep me moving in the right direction!

Good except for Christian guilt lecture

good tips for how to overcome anxiety using the Bible and faith in God. There is one negative section that mentions punishment for bad actions and I think that's unnecessary especially for a book that is supposed to reinforce and instill faith and reduce anxious thoughts!

Provided Comfort in a Time of Need

I am a spiritual person, not religious. But this audiobook was just what I needed to help put things back into perspective. The narrator had a soothing voice so it made it easy to listen to.

Great read!

The words in this book, like the words in the Bible, gives us all hope. The directions to life are the passages from the Bible. All we have to do is read the directions but sometimes we think we can handle it alone. Sometimes we are too stubborn to ask for directions. Loved the book.
