Summary

Im Jahr 2100 machen es neue Technologien möglich, sich mit speziellen Schiffen durch das Eis der Antarktis zu schmelzen. Aber die Menschheit interessiert sich mehr für den Weltraum als für den gewaltigen Eis-Kosmos, der einen ganzen Kontinent bedeckt. Nemo Baader wartet mit seinem "Eistaucher" vergeblich auf Kunden, aber dann kommt Aerith de Solana und mietet sein Schiff. Was sie sucht, verrät sie nicht, aber was sie unter dem ewigen Eis finden, ist schlimmer, als alle Befürchtungen. Vor 250 Millionen Jahren hat "es" den Tod über alles Leben der Erde gebracht – aber die Katastrophe könnte sich heute fortsetzen.
