When successful songwriter Tabitha Callahan swaps a summer of sadness for pet sitting around the world, she intends to use the time to heal her broken heart.
Tabitha can’t believe her luck when she picks up a housesit on the rugged and beautiful Portuguese island of Madeira.
The villa is luxurious, the views breath-taking and her charges, a gorgeous but aloof cat and two cute and friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, are perfect companions while she works on some new material and attempts to reconcile her past.

A great escape to sunshine
Another great read from Kate Frost. What better way to escape from the cold weather and be transported to the island of Madera. Tabitha has my dream job of pet sitting all over the world! A real feel good novel that is beautifully written and keeps you hooked from start to finish. I loved the narrator on this one who really brought the book alive for me.

fantastic book made me want to go to Madiera
As always Kate Frosts book capture my imagination. her description of people and places are so good and they make it really easy to visualise and feel like you are there
