Als ihr Vater plötzlich stirbt, verkauft sie kurzentschlossen dessen Elektroladen, verlässt ihren Dauerverlobten Heinz-Dieter und zieht mit Eiche rustikal und Papas Stehlampe in die Hauptstadt, um endlich richtig zu leben. Doch was ihr dann in Berlin widerfährt, ist genau das, wovor ihr Vater sie immer gewarnt hatte: Sado und Camorra! Schwule Astrologen, haschende Goldfischbesitzer, rasende Verbrecher in Radarfallen und glutäugige Italiener, die nicht mehr bei Mama wohnen wollen. Sie hat einen steinigen Weg vor sich, auf dem sie bis nach Kalabrien von der kurzsichtigen Rechtsanwältin Carla und ihrem unfreiwilligen Mitbewohner Max begleitet wird. Am Ende wird ihr die Liebe dort begegnen, wo sie es nicht erwartet. Aber "des is jetzt aweng kompliziert zum erklären, gell..."
