Summary
Es hätte alles so schön werden können bei der großen Glaubensbefragung der Gemeinde durch den Pastor auf dem Katthulthof. Michels Mama hat extra Unmengen an gutem Essen zubereitet. Hätte Michel seinen Vater nicht aus Versehen auf dem Lokus eingesperrt und alle Schuhe auf einen Haufen gestapelt! Aber dann zeigt er den Lönnebergern doch noch, dass er ein brauchbarer Junge ist: als sein Freund Knecht Alfred fast an einer Blutvergiftung zu sterben droht, ist es Michel, der ihn im schlimmsten Schneesturm ganz alleine zum Arzt bringt.
