About this listen
All three books in the My Very Murder trilogy are included here in this single volume. The narrative is a confession to a number of homicides that the murderer has committed.
In My Very First Murder, the glory-seeking author of this narrative claims to have committed an undetectable crime. The allegation is that the perpetrator had randomly selected the person that they’d murdered. Maybe so, but what psychological reason made them select a victim with this particular profile?
Who is this storyteller, who delights in toying with the reader? The murderer wants fame, but not at any cost. The storyteller details how they will achieve public acclaim without ever having their name known. How this paradox will be accomplished will surprise many, because every reader is by now already key to the killer’s plans.
In My Very Second Murder, the narrator confesses to another homicide. Rather than selecting a random victim, the eager perpetrator has a particular type in mind. Social cleansing is the killer’s moral justification for slaying a pedophile. The unnamed killer has stepped out of their comfort zone this time. Impulsive and even reckless at times, the murderer sets about their new project with mounting pleasure. The murderer’s journey is not without issues, but the result worth the extra effort.
As before, the storyteller, directly engages with the reader. The evasive narrator will not even reveal their gender, let alone which country they operate in.
The final story in the trilogy is My Very Third Murder. Now considering themselves to be an accomplished serial killer, the murderer sets out to murder someone known to them from a bygone era. Eighteen years previously Rick had ruined the killer’s life. Now payback time for Rick had finally arrived. All the killer had to do was find the bastard first! Revenge is the murderer’s motive; you’ll soon understand why. By this stage, the killer has added cold-blooded skill to their natural desire for retribution. It is a lethal combination, as Rick discovers to his cost. Oozing with confidence, the killer implements their latest project.
Once again, the storyteller directly engages with the reader. However, in this finale they open up to the reader like never before. Content suitable for 18+
