Summary

When it comes to finding a mate, should something so important be left to technology?

Bound by duty and a contract between Trilyn and Earth, even a prince has to learn his place. But when it comes to matters of the heart, sometimes there are no rules.

There’s nothing romantic about choosing your mate with the help of technology, and there’s nothing Prince Darbnix's less interested in than using a scanner to find his true love. But he’s also tired of fighting with his older brother about them. A human plot almost tricked the eldest Trilyn prince into marrying the wrong woman, but Darbnix has other plans. He’ll go through the motions of the grand parties, to please his brother, but his heart won’t be in it.

When the pact between the Trilyn and Earth was solidified, Dr. Rose Rand decided that the future of her veterinary career lay in exo-livestock, and the care and healing of alien creatures fascinated her. But when she was called upon to examine a royal pet, she never imagined that she would be falling in love with a Trilyn prince intent on giving up his search for a compatible bride.

When Prince Darbnix’s match is found in a Southern beauty queen, someone he never would have chosen for his bride, his suspicions flare. Can he and Rose discover the truth behind the manipulation of the compatibility scanners and reach their own happily-ever-after? Or will Darbnix have to turn aside his love for Rose and follow his brother’s command?

Alien Prince's Mermaid is the second book in the Trilyn Alien Fairy Tales series. This is a science-fiction romance story featuring a compassionate human female and a dominant alien prince in search of his true love. Each book in this pause-resisting science-fiction series has no cliffhanger, no cheating, and a guaranteed happy ending!

Frustrated

I was disappointed in this story. It had the potential for so much. Hated how he knew he felt true feelings for the heroine but never pulled the "gun". Then his brothers, who had even gone through such a thing before still felt they could force him?! The whole thing didn't sit right. And the "bad guy" was so over the top and yet no one saw it? The whole thing just put me in a frustrated and bad mood. Not sure where the title came from no mermaid of any kind around. Was disappointed in the plot and characters. Felt too much like the first book on top of it all. I really feel she has a great idea but just didn't go the right direction.

I enjoyed this book

it's so pace might not be to everyone's taste but sometimes you just need to slow down.

I'm hoping the rest of the series is translated to Audible.

I don’t think that word means what you think it means...

Well...although this is s cute story and I liked the first book But I am unclear as to whether this book was actually edited...by someone who understands the English language. There are lots of words the author uses that aren’t really used correctly, lots of repeat descriptor words and a general issue with just basic grammar. I’m not super picky about grammar but it got to the point that I was just guessing as to the context of conversations and descriptions of events. There were grammar errors in pretty much every sentence so I kinda just gave up on the book. Will be asking for a refund, I just can’t take it any more.

The story is also pretty slow and goes nowhere fast. If I could manage to listen to more of this I would like to know what happens in the story, but honestly, it’s like reading a high school essay all marked up with red pen in need of serious editing and the use of a dictionary.

Fun and gritty.

Found the book intense in the second half of the story. However like all good romances, love conquered evil.

No Mermaids

Okay first of all, there isn’t even a little bit of Mermaid or little mermaid storyline in this book. It’s basically the exact same story and plot as the first book with different names. Girl crushes on prince. Prince feels the same. Evil girl messes with mate match machine to marry prince. Evil deeds thwarted and then HEA. The end. Snore.

OK

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. Ok so the southern belle starts to tell who was tampering with the scanners and suddenly she begins to swell up and everyone runs. She turns into a bomb and blows up. Someone is still messing with the scanners. So why do they keep using them? Who knows? There were no mermaids in the story but a good story anyway. Loved the ending. Oh yeah, that pet was awesome as well. He almost took the cake for best character.

Fun Listen!

This is the second book in the Trilyn Alien Fairy Tales Series, a sweet Sci-Fi Aliens Romance. I loved the story of Darbnix and Rose and I loved their HEA and the Epilogue. The narration is well done. Chase Ripley has a great voice, easy to understand. This was a fun listen. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

I LIKED IT!

I enjoyed it! The narration was good. It will keep you entertained. This author did a good job with the characters. This was not my first book by this author, I read the first book (Alien Prince Charming) and enjoyed it as well. I look forward to reading more of her books. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

strange but good

This story had a few spots that were strange towards the end, but in all it was good. This audio book did not have the editing errors the first one did.

Great book

This is the second book in the Trilyn Alien Fairy Tales Series and focuses on the second prince brother and the problems he faces to find his genetic match. Of course doubts for the BIAS scanner has been the main focus, due to the fact that it was sabotaged with his brothers match in the first book. We learn in this book if hackers are able to end the relationship before it even starts
