Great story and narration
I bought this book for it's narrator who is excellent, however the story is very interesting and I enjoyed it immensely, I will be buying the next two books in the series.

Dull and ordinary with good moments
Excellently read but disappointing story line until last battle when soldiers and reader were uncertain until the young generals plan was revealed by rapid movements between different scenes.

Deseando que llegue el segundo libro.
Nunca sentí la necesidad de leer nada de Posteguillo antes y ahora no se si puedo esperar a que estén publicados el resto. Es increíble como el narrador te arrastra en la historía y te hace querer no parar de escuchar.

Menospreciar al enemigo es el camino a la derrota
Wow! que extraordinaria novela histórica. Realmente son dos biografías en una, la de Escipión el Africano y Aníbal (es imposible hablar de uno sin hacerlo del otro). El nivel de detalle descriptivo de las batallas en Italia (Tesino, lago Trasimeno y Cannae), así como la toma de Cartago Nova en España por Escipión es impresionante. El autor explica con claridad las estrategias y lo que ha de ver sido ser un testigo de tales batallas. La buena noticia es que se trata de una trilogía y ojalá publiquen pronto en audiolibro las dos partes restantes.
La narración es excelente.

Lo recomiendo 100%
Si le gusta ficción histórica o le interesa la Roma antigua, se le recomiendo ese libro. Compré el segundo de la serie antes de terminar el primero para que pudiera seguir leyendo esa historia sin interrupción.
