Stories by Iris Gower are always charming old country Welsh stories, full of romance and old school values. The large part of her work link the characters together between books so it’s a shame not more of her novels are on here. The narrator reads a little too lightly for my preference, not as serious as the narrator of paradise park so I struggle to invest as much in the character development but if you want to know more of her work it’s worth a listen although I’d recommend paradise park first!
