Summary

After starting their private forensic consultancy, Doctor Richard Pryor and forensic biologist Angela Bray have now become firmly established. A bizarre suicide in a remote Welsh farm starts them on a new investigation, which is followed by an unusual request from the War Office. 1950s Forensic tales

loved this book, took me back to my 1950s childhood. Believable, beautifully written characters

An excellent surprise

This book really was a surprise. Written in the 1950s it described the cases and activities around a group of pathologists, forensic pathologists and the criminal and legal world. Unlike its sometimes unbelievable american counterparts this is down to earth and happens to real people! give it a try!

Embarrassed

I found this very dated: I know it was set back in the 50s (I believe) and around 'my' time, but I did squirm with the narrative and the dialogue!

Good listen

I enjoyed this tale, which combines development of the personal stories with some good plots. My only criticism is that there is some repetition which should have been edited out. The narration is excellent with clear differentiation between the significant number of characters. Overall I look forward to the next in the series.

Easy listen - not terribly exciting

I thnk I have said it all in the title but I will just add that the storyline never really took off, it was a bit like cycling in Holland, flat with interesting scenery.
