Exceeded Expectations!

I loved the book when first read it. Even better with the songs sung!

Beautiful, moving, full of suspence and adventure

This story is a complete standalone, though "classic GGK" with all the love, war and historically-accurate horrors we can expect.
The recording is different than the other GGK I have read, but still very good, and the troubadours' songs are actually sung - a nice touch.
Read it and weep (in a good way)

A worthy tale

A story of love and betrayal, war and redemption. There are both people you care about and those you learn to despise.
