The nineteenth Cliffehaven novel by Sunday Times bestselling author Ellie Dean

Cliffehaven, 1946. The war is over and those who have spent years fighting behind enemy lines are finally coming home.

Peggy Reilly is over the moon that her husband Jim is safely back from Burma. But after the horrors he has endured, adjusting to life at Beach View will not be easy. Can he and Peggy find a way through?

Meanwhile evacuee Ruby Clark has much to contend with when her estranged mother turns up, having completed a long prison sentence. There is huge heartache still to come for Ruby, and she will need her Beach View family more than ever.

Will the sanctuary of home give them each the strength they need to face the challenges ahead?

A place called home.

This long awaited book was like a friendly face waiting at the door to be greeted home. I absolutely loved every chapter. Hopefully this isn’t the last we hear of Peggy, Jim, Rosie, And Ron. Plus all the other wonderful characters. Well written by Ellie, and beautifully narrated by Julie.

A place called Home.

Although not as exciting because war is ended. Still nice to hear about the Family.
How they all get over the horrendous loss and damage of love ones and trying to redeem their post war relationships after forced separations.

Feeling a bit robbed...

I was so looking forward to this, it's a nice easy, comfort listen and includes most of the characters you've loved and missed but it feels like a filler book without much of anything really happening or progressing. The ending felt like a chapter (at least) was missing. The narrator is as wonderful as ever. Fairly gutted

Clivehaven series

If you enjoyed the clivehaven series and thought this was a follow on book it isn't
I purchased this work thinking that it was the last book to wrap the series up it isn't maybe my fault as it's not listed as book 19 but as all the same characters are included I just assumed the book is stand alone but full of characters that if you just read this book you wouldn't know.
1at ever Ellie Dean book I have returned and I have the whole 18 book series
