Good resource for parents with ADHD kids
I found this helpful, whether it is like me, just wondering whether my child might have ADHD. Or i suspect if your child is already diagnosed and you are wondering what to do. There is a good step by step process as the audiobook guides you through it. The drive back from school (hopefully the kid is quiet on the way there), would be good to listen to this. The lessons are practical. I also appreciate a section for self care

Comprehensive Toolkit for Parents
This is a comprehensive toolkit for parents to manage kids with ADHD. The first chapter immediately hooked me and gave me a deeper understanding of the different types of ADHD and the thoroughness of the diagnosis. It offers many proven and practical tips for parents to manage ADHD effectively. I find helpful tips on how to create an ADHD-friendly environment, active listening, CBT, the ABC model, and even diet to lessen the trigger for ADHD. I also appreciate the information on self-care and building a support network.
While the strategies are practical and well-researched, the audiobook reminds parents of self-care and building their support network. Parenting a neurodivergent child can be overwhelming, and this guide encourages you to care for yourself while staying committed to your child’s success. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking practical advice, compassionate insight, and reassurance that they’re not alone. Let this toolkit be your go-to resource.

A Great Lifeline for Parents!
As a parent with a child who has ADHD, I've read my share of advice books, most of which are collecting dust on my shelf. What sets this book apart, though, is its practical approach and advice. It has no academic jargon, just actionable insights that feel achievable even on my most exhausting days. The reflection sections forced me to pause and actually implement suggestions, not just read passively. Throughout the whole thing I felt myself nodding and I felt less alone and validated. For anyone feeling overwhelmed by an ADHD diagnosis, this book will help you understand your child on a deeper lever and will offer hope that goes beyond typical parenting advice. Would definitely recommend to parents feeling lost and looking for genuine support.
