About this listen

This is a story about a young lady like many that has overcome hardships in her life. But before the start of her hardships and while working in a drug rehabilitating facility she remained dedicated to the duties of her job. She was friendly and treated everyone she met with dignity and respect. As time went on, after a couple of years on the job, she learned she had an illness that could have killed her.

Some years after leaving the job, there was a client from the facility who was in search of her. He wanted to thank her for all that she did to help him in his time of need. She had no clue that she had made such an impact in his life. This was his second attempt to contact her while asking different people if they knew her because it had been some years since she worked at the drug rehab center,

One day after going into the office to pay her rent, the receptionist asked her if she knew this person, she replied "yes", the receptionist then handed her his phone number. She held onto the number for a while as she contemplated on making the call to him and after doing so, it all came back to her just when she needed a friend.

Over the course of time, this same man that was once on drugs made an impact in her life as well, he was like the brother she never had. Never once did she think that someone from the drug rehab center would make a difference in her life. Not only did she find a true friendship with him and his wife, but she found much more. It turned out to be a destined call.
