Summary

The prequel to Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol - The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come discover that they must answer for their shocking holiday blunders. The three careless spooks misunderstood the slurred words of a toothless Jacob Marley and accidentally haunted Albert Netterscrudge instead of Ebenezer Scrooge. As a result of their visitations, Albert inspires a generation of ghost hunters. Christmas transforms from a holiday of spiritual good will to a holiday of seeking spirits. Can the three phantoms convince Albert to stop chasing ghosts and restore the true celebration of Christmas, or will they be forever trapped in a world without Yuletide Cheer?

A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens. Narrated by Christopher Ryan, Starring Sophie Aldred, Terry Molloy, and David J Keogh

Ebenezer Scrooge receives a chilling visitation from the ghost of his dead partner, Jacob Marley. Marley, looking haggard and pallid, relates his unfortunate story. As punishment for his greedy and self-serving life his spirit has been condemned to wander the Earth weighted down with heavy chains. Marley hopes to save Scrooge from sharing the same fate. Marley informs Scrooge that three spirits will visit him during each of the next three nights.

Both stories presented together on audio for the first time - Sit back and enjoy both The Spirits Of Christmas and A Christmas Carol - there is nothing that will put you more in the festive spirit. All of the characters are brought to life and acted; this is not just a narration - this is a dramatic audio narration using lavish cast of actors, more immersive and easier to listen to - in the way that Word of Mouth Productions do best. Nobody sounds like us on audio. Enjoy! Oh, and Merry Christmas!

Challenging

What story line one can pluck out from amidst
the auditory chaos was entertaining. It was very difficult to distinguish/understand voices often muffled by all the special effects.
