Summary

The 2nd novel in James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series. When a little girl is shot on the steps of a San Francisco church, Detective Lindsay Boxer reconvenes the Women's Murder Club. Working with reporter Cindy Thomas, assistant DA Jill Bernhardt, and medical examiner Claire Washburn, Lindsay tracks a mystifying killer who quickly turns his pursuers into victims.

The unorthodox allegiances of the Women's Murder Club lead them to suspect the unexpected - the killer may be an ex-cop. But nothing prepares them for the demented logic behind his choice of victims.

Emotions running high.

After my review of the last book I can say that the narration from Pat Starr is great. I am a slave to read and listen. My night time routine, that I strongly recommend: pop ear phones in and open the book. Read till ready for sleep, then book closed, continue to listen till sleep eventually descends!
I enjoyed the interaction between the women, some moments where I felt drastic loss was likely.
The memorable moments in the book are numerous, it's difficult to choose which resonated with me more. However, Lyndsey confronting some of her childhood demons, making some difficult to is compelling. Sorry this review is a bit upside down but I hope you enjoy yet another great book.

I really enjoyed this one, lots of twists and turns. Lindsay Boxer and her friends just make this
story so exciting. These ladies are a force to be reckoned with.

A good read

Not exceptional but a good plot line and strong narration. Worth pursuing the series to see how it develops.

Good story, terrible voice acting

I enjoyed the story itself, but hated the voice acting; it was incredibly hard to lose yourself in the action when the voices were flat and the gunfire sounds are just weird. Shame - I think I'll stick to reading the next one!

James Patterson is so easy listening

I like the way you can listen to a James Patterson book so easily and you can get so engrossed that before you know it, you've finished your book.
The narrator let's it down though.
