 ■凄まじい寂寥感2012年10月5日。新潮社主催の小林秀雄賞、新潮ドキュメント賞の授賞式とパーティーに行く。毎年10月の第一金曜日は、この授賞式と決まっているので、空けるようにしているのだが、その理由の何割かは養老孟司先生にお会いしたいという理由があったと思う。ただ、今回、図らずも、そう遠くない時期に「お会いしてお話しをしましょう」と約束していた増田俊也氏が『木村政彦は、なぜ力道山を殺さなかったか』で新潮ドキュメント賞を受賞され、まずそのお祝いを申し上げたい、という大きな出席理由があった。新潮社の足立真穂女史に養老先生共々、増田氏を紹介して頂き、御挨拶をした。さすがに格闘技雑誌のカメラマン等も撮影に来ていて、養老先生も含めて3人での写真を依頼され、カメラに収まった。その後、増田氏の北大柔道部時代の部員の方々（増田氏が武術雑誌に連載されている、北大時代を回想されているノンフィクション「七帝柔道記」に登場されている柔道部員の名札をつけた方々）に、「あの甲野先生ですよね」と話しかけられたので、「リアルファイトをされている方々は、私のような者は胡散臭く感じられるでしょう」と言ったところから会話が始まる。(本文から)甲野善紀の「風の先､風の跡～ある武術研究者の日々の気づき」はこちらから→http://yakan-hiko.com/kono.html©Yoshinori Kono, (P) 2016 Audible, Inc.
