Summary
主人公は中学1年生。弁論大会の弁士に選ばれてしまった。でも、少年にはみんなに伝えたいことなど何もなかった。いや、それどころか、隠しておきたいことなら山ほどあった。でも、同じく弁士に選ばれた別のクラスのあいつはちがっていた。制服でさえ、つぎのあたったものを着ているけれど、自分のうちが貧乏だということを隠そうともしなかったし、平気だった。少なくとも、そう見えた。（株）銀の鈴社の『ものがたりの小径・いちばん・アンソロジー』に収録された短編小説を朗読。なお、このアンソロジーは令和2年度神奈川県児童福祉審議会推薦の優良図書～子どもの心へ届けたい本～に選定されている。また、第７回児童ペン賞（２０２１年度）企画賞も受賞している。
