Summary
Со времени нашей последней встречи с неразлучными мушкетерами прошло еще десять лет. У власти Людовик XIV, который проводит жизнь в бесконечных пиршествах и увеселениях. Его верный подданный - лейтенант королевских мушкетеров Д'Артаньян скучает в Версале, не видит никакого смысла в продолжении своей службы и в один из дней подает его величеству прошение об отставке. Со слезами на глазах Людовик дарует свободу своему верному слуге.
