Естественно, и Шейд, и Кинбот - персонажи выдуманные, а сам комментарий, хотя формально и строится по законам комментария к литературному произведению, больше похож на литературную игру, содержащую в себе огромное количество культурологических отсылок и свободно оперирующую самыми разными жанрами: от пьесы до научной статьи и мемуарной прозы.
