Rufus Williams is an Aussie who delights in the variety of life. From founding a frisbee club during his undergraduate years (and helming it to be the second largest club on campus), to earning a PhD in Number Theory at Harvard University (his first real written work, albeit only 50 pages), he enjoys thinking and doing! After his time as a mathematician--though he still inspires youth at www.primedminds.com--he wrote and directed a feature film loosely based on the Chinese philosopher Chang Tzu’s famous butterfly dream. It was during the shooting of that film that he first had the idea for The I.F. Zones. He spent the next decade developing that story with his father (the biologist who spearheaded the lab that coined the term proteomics). Covid-19 induced him to finally publish it. He also enjoys constructing things with his hands, repurposing, for instance, his old bed frame into a Japanese arbor in his garden. You can see a variety of his project at @paperconcrete on Instagram, including sourdough and the construction of a climbing wall! Reach out to him on Twitter @PrimedRufus He's currently working on a story titled Roshambo that is about free will and destiny. Stay tuned!
