Rebecca Gibb is an award-winning wine journalist and one of only 416 Masters of Wine in the world. She is the author of The Wines of New Zealand (2018) and Vintage Crime, which will be published in October 2023 by the University of California Press. Securing her first editorial role at wine trade magazine Harpers after being named UK Young Wine Writer of the Year in 2006, she has gone on contribute to and edit several print and online wine titles. he is currently an editor for Vinous, an online wine publication, which has subscribers in more than 100 countries, publishing in-depth wine coverage and reviews. In 2015, aged just 34, she became one the 384th Master of Wine in the world. In a record class of 24 graduates, she was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award and the Bollinger Medal in recognition of her outstanding tasting ability. With a degree in history from the University of Warwick, her 2023 work Vintage Crime, brings together her two specialisms: wine and history.
