A teacher, translator, and passionate polyglot, Olesia fell in love with writing when she was 15. However, discouraged by the common belief that it was hard to make a living as a writer, she spent years in other career fields, from teaching piano to translating technical manuals. Yet she never managed to hush the voices of the stories and characters her mind kept bringing to her. And so, one day, she surrendered and allowed herself the bravery to do what she truly loved - telling stories. That was how The Wanderer of the Night was finally brought to life, although its characters had lived in Olesia's heart long before being painted in words.
