After a childhood spent between Sheffield and Multan (Pakistan), Lexi completed a Masters from the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts after gaining her undergraduate degree in Creative and Performing Arts. Her first play garnered her first recognised writing award, and her work appeared in New York less than a year later. She self-published her first book ("Better Off Dead") a few years later in 2013. That same year, she began writing a short film which would go on to win multiple awards: ‘Learning To Talk’. Lexi won ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best Screenplay’ from the International Independent Film Awards, as well as a Special Mention for Women Filmmakers from Best Shorts. Acting roles on everything from the Harry Hill Movie to Emmerdale furthered Lexi’s passion to create her own drama and plays, leading to her award-nominated one-woman show Mrs. Oscar Wilde (which she reproduced in her book "Women Of Forgotten Importance"). She currently lives on the sunny South-east coast of England with her best friend and their dog, #MarktheGreyhound
