Influenced by the writings of his poet father, Larry Jorgenson became interested in the power and the beauty of simple words. He published poetry from time to time, but after retirement from his law practice he began writing his debut novel. The rolling hills above the Missouri River had captured his spirit while he worked on a cattle ranch along the Big Muddy and his long- held respect for the Native American cultures came together to inspire Larry’s writing Not Water Over the Dam and Escape to Justice and Love. Larry is a hunter-fisher-conservationist-lawyer and lives in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
