Julie Creffield is an award-winning business legacy strategist, keynote speaker, author and passionate campaigner for social mobility and equality. Known as the Solopreneurs Champion, Julie who has herself been self-employed for almost 30 years, has supported thousands of mission-led business owners to grow their businesses. She is on a mission to ensure small business owners don’t end up broken by their businesses, and instead look after their health, wealth, and happiness while building the right kind of ventures to create effective change. In 2010 Julie founded a plus-size fitness movement that has helped millions of women around the world to get active, changing the face of sport for plus-size women. It positioned her as an expert in building online tribes, following her 15-year career in community engagement offline. 6-time marathon runner, adventurer, triathlete, open water swimmer...and all-round daredevil (unless we are talking spiders), Julie is a massive believer in women setting and achieving big goals and letting go of the fear of judgment that so many are plagued with. Born into a working-class family with 5 siblings, Julie was the first to go to university where she studied performing arts and then multimedia design and culture. She went on to spend the early part of her career working with excluded groups in East London, including 8 years on the London 2012 Olympics ensuring the games were inclusive and left a legacy for local people. She is now an in-demand international speaker on the topics of productivity, purpose, and creating profit for good, and is a proud supporter of the charity StreetChild which helps provide better quality education for children and young people in some of the world's most challenging locations. The Solopreneurs Roadmap book will be her 15th Self-published book in just over a decade. Originally from East London where she lived for 45 years, Julie now lives in Hertfordshire with her young daughter Rose, and their cute but very mischievous ginger cat Tom. She enjoys ice baths, chasing her neighbor's Guinea fowl out of her garden, and making Damson Gin. Find out more about Julie
