Jesse Lindberg born in Worcestor, Massachusetts grew up on Cape Cod, but currently a Ft Myers, Florida resident. These books are dedicated to the memory of his brother Noah Lindberg, who was diagnosed with cancer at a young age and went through special education and had special needs. The Special Ed book brings a direct approach to teaching children from a young age about special education. This book aims to educate children about the seldom spoken topic of special education and present opportunities to open up a dialog between adults and children on this subject. The Special Ed book was written to provide an easy, fun way to talk about a hard topic, which can be difficult to initiate a conversation about. This is the first children’s book series Jesse Lindberg and Co-Author John Therrien have written, with hopes to expand the book series to open up conversations about other hard to talk about subjects that parents may want to have with their children. This book series is dedicated to Noah Lindberg, Jesse Lindberg’s late brother, who was in special education and had special needs. Having a close perspective of a loved one who went through special education is what caused the inspiration for the creation of this book series.
