Fletcher Goode is a nostalgic futurist who spends his time fishing for exotic species of fish and whining about rarefied wines from around the world. He enjoys the occasional cigar while he ties his Uni Knots with a glass of Cannonau. He decided to share a rather curious book, the first in a series, with you. He hopes you enjoy it. It came to him in 2011 while observing a peregrine falcon explode a pigeon into a heap of fluttering feathers outside a music hall where a symphony was soon due to perform. As a child, he carried a telescope through the woods in search of owls and in their absence, in the evenings, he found himself contently gazing up at the stars.
