On March 5, 1987 Cindy Winget's mother finally gave birth to a healthy baby girl, born seven weeks early, after having suffered seven miscarriages. The youngest of three children (her brother and sister both being adopted) Cindy grew up addicted to the written word. She has always been passionate about writing and would sit for hours in her room filling up notebook after notebook with stories about her stuffed animals. She always had a book in her hand and was admonished by her sister that if she was going to play in her bedroom with her, than books were not allowed to come with her. As an adult with a 3-year-old daughter of her own and another one on the way, she is still addicted to the written word. She has been married to her sweetheart for ten years who has always supported her dreams to become a published author. The main idea for her first novel, Calvacade: The Unlikely Heroes, came to her in Junior High School and after many rewrites and years of hard work, that novel has finally been published on Amazon, with many more books to follow in the future.
