Loved it!
I already read the book and couldn't resist the audiobook. Loved it, really enjoyed the way the narrators brought the story and individual characters to life, can't wait to listen to the 2nd and conclusive book of the story.

inconsistent characterisation.
if you like a female protagonist who has low self esteem and a skewed moral code (justifying a man's arm being broken for being groped and that it's more important for a man to "protect"you than to be treated equally). No wonder her previous boyfriends had been controlling narcissists.
so, although the story is clearly a fantasy, and that's fine, it's a shame that the female character hasn't more self respect. Disappointing.
