Summary

Dayum that's good!!!
It's a good job I'm working from home whilst I listened this this; it is so funny and hot and sexy it distracted me so much that I just could not concentrate of getting work done whilst my ear buds were in and MJ Webb was reading away to me in all her sexy voices!!
The story is a great retelling of Beauty and the Beast but definitely not one that you will see Disney making anytime soon! You rarely see characters needing batteries and lube, or identifying as yoga balls in a Disney film! This is definitely the grown up version!! The characters are a mixed bag of male and female with the female lead being stuck on the cursed island by her beastly fiancé alone with just her dying rose until the secret island is happened upon by the two men and then later two further men and a woman. Swapping between human and other forms they live their lives happily until the beastly fiancé returns and throws a spanner in the works and her rose starts dropping petals at a rate of knots!! Can they over come and beat the curse... you'll have to listen to find out!!!
I loved this story, Rozie Marshall is an amazing writer and I can't wait to listen to more of her work. Hopefully it will be read by the amazing MJ Webb. She brings to life the words as if I were reading them myself; there seems to be no effort whilst she reads. She is breathy, sexy, whispers, roars, speaks in tongues; she does it all and sounds like the nicest person ever!! There's no mechanical robotness to her voice at all, unlike some other books I've listened to.
I'm totally recommending this audiobook to you today xx
