  • Siddhi Mittal, Co-Founder @ yhangry
    May 5 2024

Siddhi talks about his career background and how everything led her to build Yhangry, her private chef company. After doing a couple of internships at Google, etc, she wanted to be in an environment where she could learn about the markets while having a lot of fun: trading was the perfect fit.

She spent 6.5 years in trading doing asset back secured and financial subordinated debt and ran a balance sheet of over £500m+ in risk assets. Loving it while it lasted, she eventually got the entrepreneurship itch.

Siddhi wanted to build something and have a bigger impact on the world. With just an idea she found a co-founder and quit shortly she went for it and yhangry came to fruition.

What I learnt from ABBYY’s head of employer branding on how to land a job in the UK:

Abby is a global tech company that operates across 15 countries on FOUR continents…

And employs HUNDREDS of people all over the world.

    So who better to ask:

“How do I land a job?”

Than Rares, ABBYY’s Head of International Communications and Employer Branding.

Here were his TOP 5 pieces of advice for students and recent graduates:

Actively seek opportunities to learn and contribute e.g. societies and startups.

Forge a mindset of 'how hard can it be' to fuel your ambition.

Consider what you want to achieve personally, while not compromising your own values.

Be flexible, easy to work with and a good learner.

Master the art of conversation by adapting and pushing your boundaries.
