Bittersweet

A beautiful story of a Yup'ik boy's search for identity, coping with loss, and the trials of life. I'd recommend this for anyone over 12. A story with a lot of heart.

Overall, the narration was barely noticeable. However, the odd way the footnotes were dealt with (included in the main text AS footnotes) was simultaneously helpful and distracting. Thankfully, there were only half a dozen or so throughout the entire story.
