Renewable energy use is on the rise around the world, becoming a key focus of government policy and big business - and for very good reason. Not only are we facing the imminent depletion of the fossil fuels that we've relied on for so many centuries to heat our homes and power our industry, but it is clear that these alternative energy resources could also hold the key to combating climate change. But what is energy? What are we doing to effectively harness the power of these renewable resources that are now becoming the fastest growing source of energy in the world? And what obstacles do we still need to overcome to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable energy future?

Let down by robotic performance

Interesting and educational content. Certainly makes you think about the how we might fix the climate crisis by sourcing all our energy from renewables.
Narrator very clear, but reads it like a robot making it quite a hard listen. I don’t think he was interested!

Good book, tough listen

As a book full of numbers and measurements it's difficult to listen to and absorb that information. especially when all measurements are given in UK and US versions it's very hard to focus. But those downsides are a given and I still learned from this book.
