Summary
Can the search for something more be answered by something less - less stress, less clutter, less frantic racing to the next task or obligation?
Essentialism is not just about clearing and organizing the space around you. It is also about clearing your brain so that you function better mentally. When you free yourself of time vampires, you will have the freedom to pursue what really matters to you.
Are you exhausted from trying to do it all, to be all things to all people, to achieve in every area of your life?
Do you focus on your most urgent tasks but fail to do your most important tasks?
Do you struggle to say the little word no?
Do you end your day unsure that you accomplished anything?
If where you are now is the opposite of essentialism (an upgrade on the concept of minimalism), figuring out where to start can be overwhelming. Let Essentialism: Your Guide to the Power of Less and the power of habit guide you through the process of getting more by clearing out what does not contribute to your happiness and physical and mental health.
“The core of being an essentialist is to embrace the lifestyle to seek out what genuinely matters and to let everything else contributing to the distracting fog of our lives go,” explains author Mark Creed.
Essentialism will help you:
- Understand why you keep things - the answer is different for different people
- Give yourself permission to stop trying to do it all, so that you have time and energy for what is most important
- Learn the three strategies for becoming an essentialist
You do not have to go to extremes for the philosophy of essentialism to improve your life. Scroll up and click buy now.

Very interesting audible
This is a very interesting audible, some aspects are not new, but always good to record them once again. I will probably re-listen to this audile again in the future, as some bad habits tend to return.

Life-changing manual!
I can honestly say it is the best audible I've listened to so far. It was very well-written, straightforward, and above all-ACTIONABLE. The author provided research and numerous examples of each facet of essentialism.

Philosophical
I loved this audible and how it makes a lot of concepts of minimalism practical. It is easy to listen to and has a great mix of philosophical food for thought with the application.

what's really important in life
This audible helped me realized that your quality of life is not based on the Things and Stuff you collected and when you declutter those things from your life.

great job
Mark has done a great job in summarising the why and how of becoming an essentialist. At times it felt like the points were be a bit drawn out but that's probably because they were familiar.
