Soiled doves are being systematically killed in Denver, Boulder, and other towns in Colorado. Governor Evans understands the mindset of the insane and knows the killer must be stopped. The Native Land: II continues the story of the western migration on the Santa Fe Trail. This time the story deals with the Oliver Rogers family and their decision to use the Cimarron Cutoff. After they are attacked by Indians and their numbers reduced, Oliver and two other families join with a group of Mormons headed for Utah to continue their journey.

The Zack Branson: Texas Ranger saga continues when his cousin, Sarah Jane Branson, becomes a deputy sheriff in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. She gets thrown into the fire early on and is forced to shoot a Methodist minister. Shortly thereafter, Sarah is forced to kill a man who is holding a child hostage and threatening her father, US Marshal Kenny Branson. Next, Sarah Lil Britches is part of a posse that goes after bandits who robbed the Sunflower Bank in Albuquerque. Sarah and Deputy Neal Bush continue after the bandits, whittle their numbers down, and get the men in jail.

Allen accepted an operation to Veracruz Province in Mexico to terminate an American citizen who was an arms dealer. The operation becomes convoluted, and his former Navy SEALs friends are brought in to extradite him and his partner.

Tipi Morris was a 12-year-old girl and part of a wagon train headed west. She was up early and went into a draw, leading her foal, Sundance, to relieve herself and let him graze. While she was hidden from sight, Indians attacked the wagon train and killed everyone including her parents. After the screams stopped and the Indians rode off, Tipi went to the wagons, and buried her parents. She scavenged everything she could find that was usable for the wagons and the Colt Baby Dragoon pistol and money that was hidden in her parent’s wagon.
