Promises to be good...
When I heard the prologue, I must admit to being puzzled as to its content; the talk of blasphemy and beheading in contemporary England seemed somewhat amiss.
I pushed on and soon found myself understanding the book's context.
Knowing something of Douglas Harding helped, I must admit. I was already aware of this man, and of his writings about having no head; so, it slowly dawned on me that the story was fictional and intended to raise one's awareness - very cleverly - of the same.
