Best Yoga book in audio version

As I have already purchased a lot of books of this writer in kindle in which she has done an amazing job. Due to my busy routine, I found it a bit difficult to get out time to sit back relax and read the book, so I ordered her audio version of Yoga exercises with 100 different poses. I have found the book really helpful and useful. It has helped me in doing my yoga on a regular basis by putting the earbuds while doing the poses, due to which it keeps me motivating and remembering me the various steps.
It has contributed to reducing my Stress, Increased Flexibility, Strengthened muscles or gained some body strength.
The most beneficial that I have found are Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Power, Ashtanga, Bikram, and Iyengar yoga. The clear audio and proper way of description has assisted me in purifying the body from toxins, sharpened my mind and strengthened my knee muscles specifically such as the big toe and extended a hand to the big toe posture.
The great advantage is that now I can perform yoga easily at home by playing the audio without sitting for the book first to memorise the steps. This book is like my mentor who plays a vital role in my life so I would recommend it to everyone in today’s busy life.

Discover great yoga poses and stretches

Would you listen to Yoga: The Top 100 Best Yoga Poses again? Why?

Of course I will, as given are great poses I want to practice.

Being under a lot of stress lately this book gave me a great idea – to start practicing yoga and relaxation! Inside there are plenty of poses and stretches including poses that are suitable for pregnant women. It includes poses suitable while having a period and I especially liked the poses to help relieve period pains and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Good introduction to yoga for complete beginners

I have always been intrigued by yoga as I have heard of its many benefits but I have always remained a little dubious especially by the "spiritual" and religious side of yoga. That's why I loved that this book focuses on the physical benefits and explains exactly why yoga works because I was interested in how the exercises could help my body build strength and better posture.
I found it fascinating just how much yoga could help me in other aspects for example preventing migraines, alleviating stress and stimulating good health and energy levels. It also helps with my breathing problems as it teaches you breathing techniques that help deepen your breathing which has helped me to feel more energised.
This book has a very informative intro and then introduces the stretches and exercises and highlights the specific benefits of each one. Although ideally it would be good to have a visual of the exercise, this audio book does explain each exercise step by step in detail so you can get started.

Yoga with Susan is nice and easy

‘Yoga’ by Susan Hollister is a very valuable audibook that provide you useful information about yoga. It contains yoga background and types. I like the idea how yoga works on different part of the body like yoga for legs, neck, hips, etc. Also very practical is short description before all exercises how long is should take, focus, level, indication and contradiction. Especially contradiction is useful to know. The description of exercises is easy to follow and understanding. You can select your favourites position from the easiest like the Warrior, the Mountain to more advance like Sun Salutation or Lord of the Dance. Also good clue is how to create relaxing atmosphere and nice mood. The narrator Gail did a great performance and you can even exercise during listening!
You can definitely benefit form ‘Yoga’ and Susan is very competent and practical writer. Thank you very much!

Safe Start Yoga, Step by Step

Great beginner book that can carry you on into intermediate and advanced poses, so I expect to use it for years to come.

Emphasis on safe performance, great step-by- step instructions.

I especially like the audio format because I can execute poses by listening to the instructions.

How to Start Yoga With the Best Poses

I have always wanted to try yoga but I never knew where to start. Since my schedule is crazy, it was impossible for me to get to yoga classes. I decided to give this book a shot and see if I could learn from it. The extremely detailed descriptions of each pose made it easy to follow along. Each pose comes with a description on the benefits of that pose. This book is so well written. The sample routines provided are an excellent resource as well. I didn’t know yoga had so many benefits! I can already see a difference in myself. The many other aspects of yoga are also mentioned and just as important. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking to get into yoga. Thank you Susan for this wonderful book!

Perfect Beginners Guide with Detailed Instructions

What an excellent audiobook! I didn't know there were so many benefits to doing yoga, but sure enough before every pose there was a description of the health benefits. This audiobook walks you through step by step of not just Yoga poses but also what Yoga is, what it is for and it's healing properties to the body. It's essentially a detailed 101 course for beginners so don't be fooled by the title. In addition, each and every pose is carefully described so you know exactly what to do and how to do it. It even advises caution to those with certain conditions to be careful before doing certain poses. It's very thorough. I recommend this audiobook for anyone with spare time and an interest in learning deeply about Yoga.

Excellent display on Yoga Benefits:

I Had no idea that yoga increased your good cholesterol and lowers bad cholesterol. I enjoy added facts such as increased seritonin levels and helps reduce aging. My total enjoyment of listening to how well this information was displayed got me to want to get back into yoga and I feel this level of tranquility I haven’t had in a while. If you are looking to regulate your blood pressure and lower sodium levels this really does help a lot.

Helps your Yoga routine out

I bought this for my mom to help her with her yoga and she said that it really seemed to help her 20 minute workout. I think that this book can be used for the beginner or the experienced. Get this book and try it out for yourself and improve your yoga routine.

The explanations of the poses allow you to follow along as if you were in your own yoga studio. You can find accompanying pictures in the eBook of the same title if you need the visual.
I would definitely recommend this to a yoga newbie, someone that wants to refresh and be more detailed in their practice or anyone who is just curious. Take a listen, you will be happy you did!

Invigorating and Refreshing Yoga for All Ages

This audio book was very motivational and inspiring for me, a beginner yoga student living near the ocean. Those looking for a morning health routine that enlightens the body, mind and spirit with 5-30 minutes to spare will love this audio book with a voice that both commands and calms the exercises through its engaging narration. I immediately pictured a silhouette group on the beach at sunrise listening and stretching and began to feel the healing effects from head to toe as I positioned myself through the basic poses. The yoga instructor expertly describes the most popular, Hatha's top 100 positions step-by-step, with precise instructions enabling you to flow and move with each word in unison, realistically creating the mood that she is moving with you throughout the book.
The author begins with a welcoming introduction to yoga history, speaking of its 7 primary forms, Indian and Hindu origins and dating back over 5000 years ago. She describes its ease of mastery and its popularity among celebrities overcoming life’s challenges, equipment used to facilitate your practice sessions, and details each pose with body benefits - and how to modify for existing health conditions.
