Terrible narration and sentence structure

I am guessing this is something pulled together from other books - the sentence structure is so bad as to be unlistenable.

My suspicion is that the narrator is an AI as it is so wooden. Having heard a few recently AIs are quite convincing but do have this way of speaking that has inflection, but the inflection is repetitive and not nuanced like a human speaker.

Also, if you read other interviews many seem to be either unrelated to the audio book or very generic with very poor wording - possibly pay for reviews.

It all adds up to a gigantic red flag to avoid, for me.

How is this an unabridged book??

First of all I'd like to say that this book has great advice especially for first time writers, it has a lot of information that I struggled to understand through the internet.

On the other hand, it was really hard getting through the chapters of this audio book, especially in the beginning , he murdered sentence structures and ghosted punctuation, it was as if the narrator was reading Lord of the Rings for a 10 year old, while he was reading simple guidelines.

I truly don't understand how this is an unabridged book, just get the full deal and buy the hard copy or PDF and save yourself credit/cash on this puzzle that is missing key pieces.

Narrator sounds like a broken text-to-speech bot

I am painfully slogging through this. Narrator is misreading the text, placing emphasis on the wrong word (sometimes splitting or combining the flow of sentences), and switching at random between various caricaturey dialects and personas. Maybe this book is great, but I don't know if I can finish with this narrator distracting me from every sentence.
