Summary

For Josh, falling in love does not fit in with his rock and roll lifestyle. And falling for someone who believes in mermaids? Who wants to be one? Well, he wasn't expecting that, either. But the sea is deep with mysteries. Sometimes they wash ashore, whispered in the hush of a quiet tide, and all you have to do is listen. Other times you have to explore the dark beneath the surface yourself, unsure of what you might find....

Bonus story: the British fantasy award-winning story, "Shark! Shark!"

Well woven story expertly performed

I really enjoyed the story - it’s a verging on fantasy modern horror story that is unsettling and treads it’s chosen line very cleverly.

What really made it sing was the narrators pitch perfect performance - he did a great job of painting a portrait of the narrator and guiding our changing opinion of tJosh.

Definitely recommended.

Fantastic Story, Excellent Narration

'Water for Drowning' was an excellent listen that I found enjoyable and unsettling in equal measure. Helping to draw me into the story and sympathise with both the protagonist and antagonist was the narrator who did an excellent job here. He helped bring the story alive and made it strangely realistic. There are twists and turns throughout that had me second guessing what was coming next, and what did come next was horrifying. It's a short story that left me wanting more, although it did come with a bonus story at the end. more of the same please!

Two 'Fin'tastic 'Naughty'cally Themed Stories

I adored these stories. Fun, intriguing and entertaining. Expertly narrated by RJ Bayley who really brings the story and characters to life with a mixture of accents and characters. Genuinely finished Water For Drowning and found myself thinking of its ending and characters for a while.
